ททท. จัดเต็ม “Amazing Food Festival 2024 @HUA HIN” ชูเสน่ห์อาหารไทย ปลุกกระแสการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวเชิงอาหาร
วันนี้ (10 สิงหาคม 2567) กระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา โดย การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) ร่วมกับ จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ จัดงาน “Amazing Food Festival 2024 @HUA HIN” โดยมี ดร.เพ็ญพิสุทธิ์ จินตโสภณ เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน “Amazing Food Festival 2024 @HUA HIN” ณ สวนสาธารณะ โผน กิ่งเพชร โดยมีหน่วยงานพันธมิตรทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน ให้เกียรติเข้าร่วมงาน เสิร์ฟเทศกาลอาหารสุดยิ่งใหญ่ ชูเสน่ห์อาหารไทย ยกระดับเทศกาลอาหารสู่ระดับสากล ให้ประเทศไทยเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศจุดหมายปลายทางด้านการท่องเที่ยวเชิงอาหาร
ดร.เพ็ญพิสุทธิ์ จินตโสภณ เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา กล่าวว่า การจัดงาน Amazing Food Festival 2024 ที่จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่ 3 ของการจัดงาน โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเพิ่มประสบการณ์ในการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติ และเพิ่มการใช้จ่ายของนักท่องเที่ยว และถือเป็นกิจกรรมโครงการตามแนวนโยบายของรัฐบาลที่จะช่วยสร้างการรับรู้พื้นที่อัตลักษณ์ด้านอาหารไทยได้อย่างชัดเจน แล้วยังมีการผสมผสานวัฒนธรรมอย่างสร้างสรรค์ก่อให้เกิดการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวเพิ่มขึ้น โดยเฉพาะการท่องเที่ยวรูปแบบเชิงอาหาร ถือว่าเป็นการสร้างกระแสการเดินทางท่องเที่ยว ทำให้เกิดการขยายเวลาการท่องเที่ยว เป็นการสร้างและขยายโอกาสทางธุรกิจให้กับผู้ประกอบการท่องเที่ยวและธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวเนื่อง เช่น โรงแรม ที่พัก ร้านอาหาร เป็นต้น ที่สามารถสร้างรายได้หมุนเวียนต่อระบบเศรษฐกิจในภูมิภาคและภาพรวมของประเทศได้ นอกจากนี้การจัดงาน Amazing Food Festival 2024 ได้ชูนโยบาย Ignite Thailand’s Tourism ของรัฐบาล พร้อมจัดเต็มกับกิจกรรมอีเวนต์และงานเทศกาลต่างๆ อย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อให้เกิดกระแสการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในประเทศตลอด 365 วัน สำหรับงาน Amazing Food Festival 2024 เป็นการดึงเสน่ห์ของอาหารไทยทั่วทุกภูมิภาค ชูจุดเด่นและช่วยผลักดันวัตถุดิบของอาหารไทยในการเปิดมุมมองท่องเที่ยวไทยสู่สายตาโลก
นางสาวฐาปนีย์ เกียรติไพบูลย์ ผู้ว่าการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย กล่าวว่า ททท. ขานรับนโยบาย Ignite Thailand’s Tourism ของรัฐบาลในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจด้วยอีเวนต์และงานเทศกาลต่างๆ เพื่อกระตุ้นให้เกิดการเดินทางในช่วงนอกฤดูกาลท่องเที่ยว จึงเป็นที่มาของการจัดงานเทศกาลอาหาร Amazing Food Festival 2024 ณ อำเภอหัวหิน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ในครั้งนี้ ด้วยการดึงเสน่ห์ของอาหารไทยทั่วทุกภูมิภาค ชูจุดเด่นสู่ จุดขายและช่วยผลักดันวัตถุดิบของอาหารไทยผ่านกลยุทธ์ 5 Must Do in Thailand ในมิติของ Must Taste เพื่อเปิดประสบการณ์ให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้สัมผัสลิ้มลองอาหารไทยที่หลากหลาย เพื่อเชื่อมโยงต่อยอดสู่การเดินทางท่องเที่ยว โดยนำเสนอด้วยแนวคิด “Good Food Good Vibes” และเลือกพื้นที่อำเภอหัวหิน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ซึ่งถือเป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวยอดนิยมของนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและต่างชาติ มีศักยภาพพร้อมรองรับนักท่องเที่ยว และที่สำคัญมีร้านอาหารชื่อดังมากมายที่จะช่วยเติมเต็มความสุขให้กับนักท่องเที่ยวที่ชื่นชอบการท่องเที่ยวเชิงอาหาร (Food Lover) พร้อมกันนี้ ททท. ยังให้ความสำคัญกับความยั่งยืน (Sustainable) ด้วยการบริหารจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมภายในงานอีกด้วย ทั้งนี้หวังว่าการจัดงานฯ ในครั้งนี้จะสามารถสร้างความสุขและแรงบันดาลใจให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยวในการออกเดินทางท่องเที่ยวตามหาร้านอร่อยในพื้นที่ได้เป็นอย่างดี

ททท. คาดว่าการจัดงาน “Amazing Food Festival 2024” จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ในครั้งนี้ จะกระตุ้นให้เกิดการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวและดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวคุณภาพที่ชื่นชอบอาหารมาท่องเที่ยวในอำเภอหัวหิน จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ และพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง เพื่อให้เกิดการขยายวันพักและเพิ่มค่าใช้จ่ายทางการท่องเที่ยว อันก่อให้เกิดการหมุนเวียนของเศรษฐกิจฐานรากต่อไป ซึ่งการจัดงานฯ ในครั้งนี้คาดว่าจะช่วยกระตุ้นให้เกิดการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่การจัดงานไม่น้อยกว่า 15,000 คน และสร้างรายได้หมุนเวียนไม่น้อยกว่า 35 ล้านบาท

The “Amazing Food Festival 2024” Kicks Off in Hua Hin Prachuap Khiri Khan Elevating Soft Power to Boost Food Tourism
Today (August 20, 2024), The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, through the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collaboration with Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, is hosting the “Amazing Food Festival 2024 @HUA HIN” from August 10-12, 2024 at Pone Kingpetch Park. Dr. Penpisut Jintasophon, Secretary to the Minister of Tourism and Sports, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Amazing Food Festival 2024” at Pone Kingpetch Park. The event, in collaboration with both public and private sectors, aims to serve up a spectacular food festival, elevating it to an international level and positioning Thailand as a world class destination for food tourism by highlighting Thai and local cuisines as key attractions.
Dr. Penpisut Jintasophon, Secretary to the Minister of Tourism and Sports, stated that the Amazing Food Festival 2024 in Prachuap Khiri Khan which is the third area of the event. aims to enhance the travel experiences of international tourists and increase their spending. This festival aligns with the government’s policy to clearly highlight Thailand’s culinary identity and creatively blend cultures, thereby promoting tourism, especially gastronomy tourism. This creates a trend in travel, extends tourism duration, and expands business opportunities for tourism operators and related businesses such as hotels, accommodations, and restaurants, generating economic circulation regionally and nationally. Moreover, the Amazing Food Festival 2024 promotes the government’s “Ignite Thailand’s Tourism” policy, featuring continuous events and festivals to sustain domestic travel momentum throughout the year. Ms. Thapanee Kiatpaiboon, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, stated that TAT is aligning with the government’s “Ignite Thailand’s Tourism” policy to drive the economy through various events and festivals, aiming to stimulate travel during low seasons. This led to the organization of the Amazing Food Festival 2024 in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan, emphasizing the unique charm of Thai cuisine from all regions. The festival aims to highlight key selling points and promote Thai food ingredients through the “5 Must Do in Thailand” strategy, specifically focusing on ” Must Taste” The goal is to offer tourists diverse culinary experiences, encouraging travel through the concept of “Good Food Good Vibes.” Prachuap Khiri Khan, a top tourist destination for both Thai and international travelers, is chosen for its readiness to welcome tourists and its abundance of renowned restaurants, enhancing the food tourism experience for food lovers. TAT also emphasizes sustainability, managing the event’s environmental impact, and hopes this event will inspire and bring happiness to tourists seeking culinary adventures.
At the event “Amazing Food Festival 2024 @HUA HIN”, special features are gathered to provide to tourists, food lover, and social media people, allowing them to update their taste experiences. Participating venues include Michelin Guide restaurants, popular eateries, contemporary dining spots, and local favorites. Chef Hang Paiboon Kulvaraporn, Baan Head Chef and a new generation chef, chef Thanwa Jidnaray Boonsangwat, private chef and F&B consultant, will conduct cooking demonstrations.
